No one teaches you how to help your child thrive.
We have been lucky enough to be a part of the GPM community for many years both as parents and now as consultants.
We offer monthly family workshops for GPM. In addition, you can set up an individual consultation to receive tailored support for your child and family.

3. Foster relationships between neurodiverse siblings
4. Diffuse sibling conflicts
5. Learn how to implement a plan with confidence
Neurocapable was born out of our own frustration with “the system” and its limitations. We believe all families are capable….
With the right support and training, we’re certain you and the children in your life will live more fully.
Throughout my career, I have seen so many families struggle to understand and connect with their child. Neurodiverse families deserve better. Special education and social work techniques can be made accessible to any family or organization.
This is my life’s work and passion. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey .
Maria E. Garcia, Founder
My name is Maria and I grew up in Sunset Park Brooklyn to immigrant parents. I am a Sister, a Mom and a Social Worker. I highlight sister because my older brother has an intellectual disability – we are only a year apart. As a child, I remember going with my mom to appointments and being his advocate even at a young age.
I also know what it is like to get a diagnosis for my own child. I felt confused at the parent teacher conferences, overwhelmed by homework and unsure how to navigate appointments. I needed a plan and a team to support me, my child and my family, even as a professional in my field. Fast forward, several years later and my son is thriving but it took a lot of team work to get there!
Many professionals including doctors, therapists and teachers are part of this journey. We would love to be part of your team and share the knowledge and resources we’ve developed along the way. Let’s connect!
